USA Water Polo is the national governing body for water polo in the United States and a member of United States Aquatic Sports. It oversees the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams and organizes over 20 tournaments each year. The men’s team has a long Olympic history dating back to 1904, earning seven medals, including one gold. The women’s team has competed in every Olympic Games since the sport’s debut in 2000, winning a medal each time and securing three consecutive golds from 2012 to 2021.
